FAQ

Questions buyers ask us first.

Commercial terms, sampling, private label, materials and shipping — with the numbers we can actually commit to.

Ordering & MOQ

What is your MOQ?
It depends on the style, because strand size and weave density change the setup. As a guide, our starting quantity is [MOQ: TBC] per style and per colour. Tell us the style code and we will confirm the exact figure for that piece.
Can I mix styles in one order?
Yes. Mixed-style containers are normal for us. Each style still has its own minimum, so the practical limit is the combination you choose, not our willingness. Send the codes and quantities and we will tell you what works.
Do you accept small trial orders?
Yes, within reason. A trial lot is how most of our long-term customers started. Trial quantities are [Trial MOQ: TBC], and mixed styles in one trial lot are accepted.
How long does a bulk order take?
Production runs [Production lead time: TBC] from the day you approve the sample, assuming materials are in stock. Peak season is busier, so add margin if your delivery date is fixed.

Sampling

How long does sampling take?
[Sample lead time: TBC] from the moment we have your brief, your reference or an agreed drawing. Complex shapes with new tooling take longer, and we will tell you before you commit.
Do I pay for samples?
Samples are charged at [Sample charge policy: TBC], and courier cost sits on the buyer’s account. Where our policy allows, sample charges are credited against the bulk order.
Can you develop from my drawing?
Yes — a sketch, a photo, a competitor’s bag or a physical sample all work. Send the reference with target size, material and quantity, and we will come back with a sample plan and a price.
What if the sample is not right?
You tell us what to change and we revise. Corrections to an existing sample are usually quicker than the first round. Bulk never starts until you have signed off a sample you are happy with.

Private label & customization

What can actually be customized?
Material, weave, shape, size, handle, lining, colour, embroidered logo, leather patch, woven label, hang tag and packaging. The full list with its limits is on the OEM & ODM page.
Can you apply my logo?
Yes. Embroidery stitched into the weave, an embossed or printed leather patch, or a woven label set into the seam. Send your actual mark, not a screenshot of it.
What file do you need for a logo?
Vector artwork is best — [Logo file format: TBC]. If you only have a raster file, send the largest version available and we will tell you whether it will hold up in embroidery.
Do you make packaging with my branding?
Yes. Hang tags, poly bags, colour boxes and carton marks can all carry your brand. Send your artwork and we will quote packaging alongside the bags, with the specification confirmed on the sample.

Materials

Which materials do you work in?
Paper straw, raffia, corn husk and cotton rope are our regular fibres, and our workshop is set up for those. If your range needs a different fibre, tell us and we will say honestly whether it is something we can do.
Can you match my colour?
Yes. Send a Pantone reference, a swatch or a physical sample and we will dye to it. Allow for normal tolerance in natural fibre — exact matches are not always achievable, and we will flag it before production.
Are the materials natural?
The bag bodies are natural fibre. Handles, snaps, rivets, lining and packaging may include synthetic parts; the composition of each component is confirmed on the sample you approve.

Shipping, payment & documents

Which port do you ship from?
Qingdao, China — around two hours from the workshop, which keeps the inland leg short and reduces handling.
LCL or FCL?
Both. Trial lots and small ranges usually go LCL; once you are ordering full containers, FCL is cheaper per unit. We will show you the numbers for both rather than assume.
Who handles export documents?
Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading are arranged with our freight forwarder, and origin paperwork where your market requires it. Tell us at quotation stage what your customs broker needs, so it can be confirmed and priced in.
Can you ship to Amazon FBA?
Yes. For FBA we follow your carton, label and pallet specification rather than our own default, so send the requirements with the order and we will build them into the packing plan.
What payment terms do you offer?
Terms are agreed per order and stated on the proforma invoice before production starts. We do not publish a single standard term, because deposit and balance arrangements differ by order size and destination.

Numbers in these answers are placeholders — replace every one with your real commercial terms before publishing.
